ADENA FUTBOL CLUB
The Adena Futbol Club 95-Girls team won the Atletico Flames Veterans Classic Soccer Tournament in Elizabethtown on November 9, 2008. The girls were undefeated in the tournament, outscoring their opponents 11-2. They defeated Oldham County Legends, Paducah Lady Storm, Elizabethtown Atletico Flames, and Louisville 1996 United to win the tournament. AFC 97 girls had a strong showing in the Veteran's Classic, finishing 2-1-1 with wins over Okolona and MUSA Flyers, and a 0-0 tie with Atletico Flames. AFC 97 wins tourney! The AFC 97 Girls won the GU12 division of the Winchester Classic Tournament held Sept. 20-21. They defeated CF Academy Warriors 3-0, Springboks '98 4-0, Paris Springboks 2-0 and AC United 3-1 in the final. Congratulations to Mike and his team!!  Teams (2008-2009)
