Adena Club teams will have indoor training at SoccerProfs facility (Map 1, Map 2) in Lexington during January and February. The fee is $80 for 8 sessions (one per week) or $160 for 16 sessions (two per week).

Players must pay and register online, and will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis.

Adena has announced the addition of Jim Tussey to its staff in the position of Club Technical Director. Mr. Tussey has several years of experience coaching, including 14 years at Georgetown College coaching Men and Women where he was named coach of the year 4 different times. He led Woodford Co girls to the State title game in 2008, and recently coached the top 20 LCA Boys Team. Mr. Tussey has coached club soccer for 15 years at the highest level, leading teams to State titles in 2007 and 2008. He is also the Region 2 ODP coach of the 96 girls team.

Adena is proud to welcome Mr. Tussey to its staff, and appreciates the opportunity to have his expertise on the training field.

Adena is excited to welcome Lyndsay Vance as its new keeper coach. Lyndsay is currently playing for Eastern Kentucky University where she was named the Ohio Valley Conference Goalkeeper of the Week for her performance against Valparaiso.

Lyndsay helped lead the Woodford County Lady Yellow Jackets to a state runner up finish in 2007 and a state final four finish in 2008, and was named the MVP of her high school team from 2008-09. She played her club soccer with the Bluegrass Soccer Club.

The Adena 99 Boys won the U-12 Division of the Derby Cup the weekend of April 30 - May 1. They went through the tournament undefeated.
Congratulations to the Adena 99 Boys, coached by Kyle Pasley.

The Club made a good overall showing at the tournament, finishing with a combined record of 11-9-4. The U17 girls team also made it to the finals. Great job girls and coaches against some tough competition!

The Adena 98 Girls won the U-13 Green Division of the Louisville Cup the weekend of April 16-17. They defeated teams from South Bend, Indianapolis, and Knoxville before beating Derby City 3-2 in the finals.
Congratulations to the Adena 98 Girls!!! The 98 girls are coached by Head Coach Allison McVey and Assistant Coach Jonathan Noble.

The Adena 97 Girls won the U-14 Division of the Kick in the Bluegrass Tournament the weekend of March 19-20, going undefeated through their division. The 97 girls are coached by Andi Wilhoit with Assistant Taylor Henderson. Great work girls!
